Yes, all of my prints, both screenprints and giclée prints are limited edition which makes them a collectible piece of art. Integrity is very important to me. Once an edition is completed, there will be no more releases.

What is a screen print?
Screen printing is a printing technique that pushes ink through a woven mesh screen onto a material using a stencil. The open areas of the mesh transfer the design, while the blocked areas prevent ink from passing through, creating sharp, vibrant, and highly durable designs.
What kind of paper is the screen print printed on?
Sam Leitch screen prints are printed on Fabriano Artistico paper. 100% cotton. No bleach. No acid.

Do you have digital copies?
I have a mixture of digital and non-digital prints. My giclée prints are high quality digital prints, printed by specialist printers, Phreon, based in West Auckland.
What is a giclee print?
A giclée print is a premium fine art reproduction made with high-resolution inkjet technology and archival pigment inks that deliver rich color accuracy and crisp detail.
What kind of paper is a giclee printed on?
Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching – 310gsm textured, 100% archival cotton rag, natural white, matte finish paper, giclée prints resist fading and are built to last.
This acid-free, heavyweight fine art paper ensures long-term fade resistance and preservation quality, making it ideal for collectors seeking investment-grade contemporary art prints.
What is the difference between a screen print and a giclee print?
The difference between a poster or a photographic print and a screen print is about 15 hours of meticulous hand separation work.
Then multiple days on the screen print machine.

Where do you ship from?
We ship all art pieces from the studio in Auckland, New Zealand.
Do you have free shipping?
Yes! All prints have free shipping throughout New Zealand (including rural delivery).
We offer free international shipping on orders over $499NZD.
How are prints packaged and shipped?
This item will arrive rolled in a dent-resistant tube.
This method is especially safe for oversized works, and provides lower shipping costs as well.
Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival. Upon immediate delivery, we highly recommend you send any works on paper directly to your framer for cautious, professional unrolling of the artwork.

Every customer receives a shipping notification once the parcel leaves our office. Please check your SPAM box before emailing us requesting an update.
Your local shipping carriers may experience delays outside of our control.
Duties & Taxes
Please note that you will be responsible for all duties and taxes incurred in the country of destination.
International orders might be subject to duties and taxes which are calculated by your local customs authorities. These costs must be paid by the recipient.
Sam Leitch Artist does not have any control over these fees and we cannot advise as to what the costs will be, as they vary by country. For more information, please contact your local customs office. Keep in mind that we’re not able to reimburse you for duties and taxes paid upon delivery.
PARCEL REDIRECT
We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched, so please supply an address where you will be available to sign and receive your order.
I put in the wrong shipping address, what do I do now?
It is very important to add your correct shipping address when you place your order. If you enter the wrong shipping address contact us immediately at hello@samleitch.com
We have a restricted window to make a request for the package to be rerouted from the moment you make the purchase; however, we cannot guarantee the change will be doable as it depends where the package is in the shipping process. We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched.
Where can I find my order confirmation?
Once you’ve completed your purchase, you will receive an Order Confirmation email.
Please check your junk mail or spam folders if you can’t find it. Otherwise, contact customer service and we will be able to assist you.
What should I do if my print is damaged?
Take a photo of the damage and email me directly.
We will then arrange a courier to pick up the print to deliver it back to the studio. From there, we will assess the situation, and we will make sure you receive a replacement print.
Returns and refunds
I change my mind, can I return my print and get a refund?
Unfortunately, no. Limited edition artworks and original paintings are not eligible for returns.
Please send us an email to hello@samleitch.com if your order arrived damaged or in poor condition.
My piece arrived damaged, what do I do?
If damage has occurred due to shipping reasons, please let us know immediately.
Damage needs to be reported immediately on receiving the print – within 24 hours, so we can claim the courier company insurance.
If damage has occurred from handling of the print post delivery or during the framing process, it is not possible to return the print.
Important note: Make sure you have clean hands as well as a dry, clean and flat bench top when viewing your print. The print is usually best viewed (and safest) with your local framer. If you have any questions or would like more assistance, don't hesitate to reach us at hello@samleitch.com
Handling and framing
Once I receive the print, what should I do?
Firstly, congratulations! This is exciting.
It is best to keep the print in the tube and to get your print framed sooner rather than later so that they are not rolled for long periods of time.
Paper prints are delicate and should be treated with a lot of care.
Make sure you have clean hands as well as a dry, clean and flat bench top when viewing your print.
If you have taken it out of the tube to view it, do not try to put it back in the tube because you may crease it. It is best to safely transport it without forcing it's shape.

What type of framing should I get for my print?
Framing choice is personal and depends on the print, your home and your taste.
I recommend getting the print framed at specialist framers and get their advice to help you make your choice.
