Opening night: Wednesday July 8th 6-8:30 PM at Allpress Studio, Freeman Bay
A glance at what to expect...
The first two pieces of the Nothing for Granted series were recently released at the Aotearoa Art Fair in Auckland.
The exhibition centres my most ambitious screen print to date: a 29-colour work released in 9 unique colour ways. The next 7 will be released at the exhibition!
Following the success of In Two Minds and Devotion, I continue to translate themes of ecological fragility, and a deep appreciation of the natural world into a body of fine art that is as technically extraordinary as it is emotionally resonant.
Nothing for Granted is a reminder to anchor ourselves in gratitude for the small, often overlooked moments that make life precious.

A word from the artist
“This exhibition is not just another exhibition. It’s a celebration. A celebration of the craftsmen and women who keep the ancient art of screen printing alive, of the birds and landscapes of Aotearoa that deserve our protection, and of the profound beauty that exists in ordinary moments, if only we slow down enough to notice them.”
The Venue
Hosted at Allpress Studio
Originally a coffee roastery, Allpress Studio has become one of Auckland's most distinctive creative spaces. Now, it provides the backdrop for Nothing for Granted — an exhibition celebrating craftsmanship, conservation, and the art of presence in the heart of Freeman's Bay.
A highlight sure to draw significant interest, Artrite Screen Printing will be on-site to showcase a live screen printing demonstration and speak in depth about the painstaking, labour-intensive process behind the work.
This is a rare opportunity for the public to witness the skill, patience, and precision that goes into creating fine art screen prints of this complexity.
